Our Pledge to Safety and Well Being complements the previously released Oklahoma Restaurant Promise and outlines a restaurant's pledge to take the proper steps when an employee has been exposed to or is diagnosed with COVID-19. Elements include the steps a restaurant will take when with Employees Who Are Ill, Employees with COVID-19 Symptoms at Work, COVID-19 Exposed Employees with No Symptoms, Contact Tracing Employees Exposed to COVID-19, Clean and Disinfect and Returning to Work. These guidelines are in cooperation with the State Health Department and the Health Departments in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. We encourage all restaurants to take the pledge by establishing these protocols in their operation and posting the pledge in their restaurant for customers and employees to understand the steps the restaurant is taking to keep dining out a safe and enjoyable activity.
Well, it looks like instead of opening the golf season - the ORA Golf Classic will have the opportunity to close the golf season. Because of unfortunate course conditions brought on by the freeze earlier in the year, the Oklahoma Restaurant Association will now host the 2021 ORA Golf Classic on a new date - Monday, October 11, 2021, at Quail Creek Golf and Country Club in Oklahoma City. We hope you'll join us later this year, as members gather to enjoy friendship and a great day on the course. Tee boxes and greens should be in excellent shape by then!
